Blog March 3-8

I learned this week in class that many authors use satire to get a more vivid point across to the reader. Over spring break i have planned out a schedule to keep to so i can get my project before the last night. So ya it will be fun!!!!

Social Action project

In my social action project jessie, tabor, and me are doing water conservation. With this being a very high topic throughout the valley. The audience we would talk to is everyone in this valley cause we have many restrictions on water. We could right a petition or a letter to all the cities that want to take our water and maybe suggest ways that they can conserve on saving their own water.

British Author update

This week i have started my quote analysis having half of it done already. I have been reading my book and it gets even more interesting the further i get into it. Also finishing up back round research about the author. Brandon and me have made our schedule and due dates for ourselves which we expect to keep to.

Do it in the dark

This project is promoting energy conservation for the campus. It interests me because involves having current residents in the campus area participating with refreshments and glow in the dark memorabilia. This will cut down on our greenhouse effect and help us use less energy in our enviroment.

Sports

This subject is about watching our young children in parks today. This subject interests me because when your a kid and your having fun in the park the last thing in your mind is getting hurt or being kidnapped. Today many kids can get hurt or some get kidnapped at any time without proper guidance by older individuals. If we watch our young children in these areas we will cut down on the amber alerts and children getting hurt without proper attention.
